Construction & Project Site Management
The ECOSIRE Construction & Project Site Management app extends ERPNext Projects, Buying, Stock, Assets, Selling, and Accounting with construction-specific controls. It supports BOQ cost structures, subcontractor work orders, site material requisitions, daily and plant logs, interim certificates, progress billing, retention, and project profitability.
Certified values post through native Sales Invoices and Purchase Invoices so the project record, subledger, and General Ledger remain one source of truth.
Implementation checklist
- Configure Company, Project, Cost Center, Warehouses, Items, UOMs, accounts, taxes, and subcontractor Suppliers.
- Map the client's BOQ structure, cost codes, measurement rules, and revisions.
- Define advance, retention, withholding, certification, and release terms.
- Assign Site Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager, Accounts, and restricted subcontractor roles.
- Import opening BOQ, committed, certified, retention, and site-stock values only after reconciling them to signed source documents.
- Test over-certification, duplicate retention release, cancellation, and amendment guards on staging.
- Run an end-to-end cycle from BOQ and work order through invoices, Payment Entries, stock movement, and project reports.
- Back up production and fingerprint all existing data before migration.
Day-to-day controls
- Amend a BOQ instead of overwriting an approved revision.
- Link every work order, site log, material movement, and certificate to the correct Project and Company.
- Certify cumulative quantities from signed measurement evidence.
- Reconcile retention held and released to the corresponding receivable or payable balance.
- Review committed, certified, billed, paid, and actual cost together before approving the next certificate.
