Zalando Store Management

The ECOSIRE Zalando Store Management module integrates your Zalando Partner account with Odoo through the ZDirect Partner API. Manage product articles, orders, inventory, and returns across 25 European fashion markets from a single Odoo instance. With over 49 million active customers, fashion-specific attribute handling, size chart mapping, and season management, this module is purpose-built for apparel and fashion brands selling on Europe's leading online fashion platform.

Prerequisites

  • Odoo 17, 18, or 19 (Community or Enterprise edition)
  • An active ECOSIRE license for this module
  • A Zalando Partner account with ZDirect access
  • API credentials (Client ID and Client Secret) from the Zalando Partner Portal

Installation

  1. Download the module ZIP from your ECOSIRE Dashboard
  2. Extract to your Odoo addons directory:
    unzip ecosire-zalando-*.zip -d /opt/odoo/addons/
  3. Restart the Odoo service:
    sudo systemctl restart odoo
  4. Navigate to Apps, click Update Apps List
  5. Search for "ECOSIRE Zalando Store Management" and click Install
  6. Enter your ECOSIRE license key when prompted

Configuration

Step 1: Obtain Zalando API Credentials

  1. Log in to the Zalando Partner Portal (ZDirect)
  2. Navigate to Settings then API Credentials
  3. Create a new API client for your integration
  4. Select the required scopes:
    • Articles (read/write)
    • Orders (read/write)
    • Returns (read/write)
    • Fulfillment (read/write)
    • Price management (read/write)
  5. Note your Client ID and Client Secret
  6. Record the Partner ID and Sales Channel IDs for your target markets

Step 2: Connect in Odoo

  1. Navigate to Zalando Store Management then Configuration
  2. Enter your ZDirect API credentials (Client ID, Client Secret, Partner ID)
  3. Select your target markets from the 25 available European countries
  4. Click Test Connection to verify
  5. Configure your default warehouse and company mapping
  6. Set up your fulfillment model (ZFS, Connected Retail, or Partner Fulfillment)

Step 3: Configure Sync Settings

Product Sync

  • Choose sync direction: Zalando to Odoo, Odoo to Zalando, or bidirectional
  • Set sync interval: Scheduled (5/15/60 minutes)
  • Map Odoo product attributes to Zalando fashion attributes (color, size, material)
  • Configure size chart mapping for each product category
  • Define season and collection tags for article lifecycle management
  • Set up brand content templates to meet Zalando guidelines

Inventory Sync

  • Map Odoo warehouses to Zalando fulfillment channels
  • Set buffer stock quantities per market
  • Enable scheduled stock updates
  • Configure ZFS inbound shipment planning if using Zalando Fulfillment Solutions

Order Sync

  • Enable automatic order import from selected markets
  • Map Zalando payment references to Odoo payment journals
  • Configure return reason mapping and automated return processing
  • Set up shipping carrier mapping per market

Initial Sync

  1. Go to Zalando Store Management then Operations then Initial Import
  2. Select the markets to import from
  3. Choose data types to import (Articles, Orders, Returns)
  4. Set date range for historical orders
  5. Click Start Import and monitor progress in the sync log

Dashboard

The OWL 2 dashboard provides:

  • 6 KPI cards showing real-time sales, orders, and return metrics per market
  • Interactive Chart.js sales analytics with date and market filtering
  • Top articles ranking by revenue across connected markets
  • Return rate analytics by product category and reason
  • Season performance tracking for collection management
  • Article lifecycle overview showing status distribution
  • Live activity feed of recent sync operations
