ECOSIRE Construction Management

The ECOSIRE Construction Management module is the foundation of the ECOSIRE Construction & Contracting Suite. It brings multi-discipline Bills of Quantities, rate analysis (labour, material, equipment, and subcontract), committed-cost job costing, project P&L with cost-to-complete forecasting, an earned-value cockpit (CPI / SPI / VAC), inspection workflows, Gantt-style phase scheduling, and RFI + transmittal registers into Odoo — in a single module that every other pack in the suite builds on.

Install this module first. Every other pack (Billing, Subcontract, Estimation, Field Operations) requires it.

What it does​

  • Multi-discipline BOQ — structured Bills of Quantities organised by discipline and work section, each item carrying a unit rate and quantity.
  • Rate analysis — break each BOQ rate down to its components: labour, material, equipment, and subcontract costs, with quantities and unit rates.
  • Job costing with committed-cost tracking — records actual costs (purchase orders, vendor bills, timesheets, attendance, stock moves) against the BOQ and flags committed-but-not-yet-invoiced spend so the project never surprises the finance team.
  • Project P&L and cost-to-complete — live comparison of budget vs actual vs forecast-to-complete across every cost category.
  • Earned-value cockpit — CPI (Cost Performance Index), SPI (Schedule Performance Index), and VAC (Variance at Completion) tiles updated in real time as costs and progress are posted.
  • Inspection workflows — define inspection types with checklist templates, raise inspection records against project phases or BOQ items, and record sign-off with date and responsible party.
  • Phase scheduling (Gantt) — define project phases with planned start/end dates and sequence dependencies; a Gantt view tracks actual vs planned progress.
  • RFI register — raise, route, and close Requests for Information (RFI) with a full correspondence trail and due-date tracking.
  • Transmittal register — log document transmittals (drawings, specifications, submittals) with revision tracking and recipient acknowledgement.
  • Multi-company and analytic integration — each project maps to an Odoo analytic account; all cost postings flow through the standard analytic framework.

Installation​

  1. Download the module ZIP from your ECOSIRE Dashboard.
  2. Extract it to your Odoo addons directory: 
    unzip ecosire-construction-management-*.zip -d /opt/odoo/addons/
  3. In Odoo go to Apps, click Update Apps List.
  4. Search for ECOSIRE Construction Management and click Install.
  5. Enter your ECOSIRE license key when prompted.

After installation a Construction root menu appears in the main navigation.
